Our Staff
Rory and Megg, along with their professional staff, seek to help clients match their interests, needs, taste and budget with the right artwork.

Rory Parnell, co-owner rparnell@themahlerfineart.com Rory has owned galleries in downtown Raleigh for over 25 years. She has vast connections and relationships with artists across the country. She works with residential and corporate clients and oversees exhibition and corporate installations. Rory serves on the Board of the Visual Art Exchange and on the City of Raleigh Public Art Board. She is the recipient of the 2008 Raleigh Medal of Arts award. Rory and her husband, Jerry, spend their free time at Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia, where they enjoy grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Megg Rader, co-owner mrader@themahlerfineart.com Megg’s educational background is in Arts History and Arts Administration. Her career has focused on development, marketing and public relations. She brings these skills to her work with residential and corporate clients, and in her oversight of the marketing and public relations for the galleries. She also serves on the Board of the Conservation Trust for North Carolina. Megg has high school children at St. Mary’s School and Broughton High School. She and her husband, Robert, and their children love the mountains which has given her the opportunity to build many relationships with craft artists in western NC.

Mary Kay Kennedy, Gallery Manager mkennedy@themahlerfineart.com Mary Kay manages everything and all of us! She oversees the operations of The Mahler and The Collectors Gallery. In addition, Mary Kay is also an active member of Visual Art Exchange where her photography is frequently on display. |
Libby Staub, Gallery Associate & Art Consultant lstaub@themahlerfineart.com You can find Libby at The Mahler several days a week and at special events. She also works on residential and corporate projects and serves on the Board of Artspace. When she is not at the gallery you can usually find her at Broughton High School or Appalachian State University cross country or track meets cheering on her boys! |
