Cindy Morefield

Artist Bio

Cindy Morefield has consistently been drawn to the intricate, labor-intensive techniques, explored throughout her school years in cut paper, graphite, colored pencil, and oil paint. She earned a BA in Studio Art from the University of Mary Washington followed by an MFA in Painting from Northern Illinois University. While in graduate school she discovered the techniques of layered acrylic on wood panel that she continues to develop in her carved acrylic paintings.
